The reasoning for these picks-
The Heat game last night I thought that it will be fought out and then MIA may pull away a bit was not sure they would cover but if they did I figured it meant the Bucks would not get 100 pts-
The Nets and Clips picks are based on teams that move hard to the basket and are quick to go back after a Def rebound, the Clips more than the Nets, if the pace of these two games goes as it did Saturday these games may have close to similar results. This is also why I made the series picks.
As for the totals I know it is going against two of the best in the biz king and phixer but I have to be proven wrong on theories before I can back out from them. The Grizz are going to have to win this by trying to keep pace with the Clips- they tried to slow down the game and ended up just being slow themselves to the boards because they wanted to get back on D and avoid the fast break points- there were many point blank layups missed on Saturday and Cliff pointed out this is going on around the league which I too have noticed. If they correct some of those shots this has a good chance of going to 188-190 range. I think that it will depend on the Clips pace and on them driving to the baskets and maybe they will hit more 3s this time around (shot 35% last game) I also see this game being physical I really thought Randolph was going to get thrown out of the game there is physical and then there is Gorilla stupid plays- he was the latter- If this goes on they will foul a lot again- it was if I recall about 20+ fouls on saturday in the 4Q alone. If they get into foul trouble defense loosens up and the lanes open up. I think the Clips first dunk came on or about the 4th Q by Jordan, this means they were not being over aggressive but playing smart. We shall see. I will pick 3 out of those four for the contest later on.

Adding one more, cannot ignore all the indicators for an over in the Nets game. All 4 refs are prone to overs in this point total range. Over is 12-4 last 16 meetings in Brooklyn. Crunching home/away numbers shows an over.
