This is probably a trap but I love the Clippers... I don't think Toronto is capable of pulling off any upsets right now... Especially not against a team like the Clippers.

Been following from the beginning but haven't posted in a long time.  You may remember that I was the fool who had BR up to $2020 and promptly lost $700 on online Casino. 

 Well after much back and forth and some tailing of your picks (up and down) I am still hanging steady at $1300.  I cannot pick college BBall this year worth a damn so that is my downfall.  So for now I am just going to tail you in NBA and use my own skills for Golf (my favorite and most knowledgeable sport) and small amounts on the local College Teams.  Really you should just bet the sports/teams you know the most about anyway... duh!!

Probably the most important thing I have learned from this thread is PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE. Just place your bets carefully and win or lose do it again tomorrow, much like a golfer just taking it one shot at a time and not getting too excited either way!!

NIce RLM here + I think this line is set waaaaay to low (MIA -2... really? again?) Pacers already beat Miami this season, and the line was set at... -2 !!! I think books are trying to sell us the same b*s*hit for the second time! I'm not buying...

 

I'll start with a high scoring game I expect in MSG. Melo is on fire and the defense of the Knicks allowed Jameer Nelson and Reddick to combine for 50 points in the recent game against the Magic. Jennings and Ellis are more of an offensive power than a Magic duo. So all points out towards over here. I also like the Bucks to try to even out the series here but not sure they will do it - but I see them fighting through the first half. The line movements - some straight (totals) and the other opposite the public support my notion.

I was thinking the same thing on the Bucks game, I also really like Orlando and Memphis to cover. How do you feel about those two games? I think they stay competitive enough to cover +8.5 and +6.5 respectively.

I'm really liking the Knicks tonight. melo's on the zone right now, and with All Star Game coming up and the second half of the seaosn being all about seeing who's gonna be the MVP, I can totally see Carmelo upping his game from now on and posting 25+ games match after match. Knicks (and Carmelo) also like to finish their games in style, especially playoff teams, like they did to Dallas, Denver, Miami, Houston, Chicago, Spurs, so I see them confortably outscoring their rivals in the fourth quarter tonight.

Another query on line movements. Both Heat and Clips have the money coming for them but the line moves against them. But the overs has money coming for it and the line moves with the money. Any thoughts?

any reason on the over for NYK/Bucks game? I just see the Bucks as being so one-dimensional. Maybe I haven't watched them enough, but Jennings only has a left hand shot/layup and don't they have a pretty awful offensive bench? who else can score on that team other than him and maybe fast break points from ellis?

I cannot support the bucks tonight. I watched the on nbatv vs the bulls the other night and they just flat out sucked. They looked like they had nothing in the tank :(
