When figuring a hot vs cold team I give 10 points for a win in last game 9 in the game before that and so forth. I add the up and if there is a 40% difference it is a play usually. New York has a 97% rating. The Laker a 5% rating. That is a stunning difference. I am looking for a 40% difference and this is over 90%.
The only game I gave out over this period that was not a hot cold play that I call a 5 unit play was Fla Atl. I compromised. It is very hard for Fla. teams in college to play in the cold climates and at high altitudes and vice versa. Denver is in a league they must do this. Knowing this I still played a half play( 5 units). They went off at +128 at Matchbook

Now how do I make sense of this, 85% is betting on the over for 200, and they decide to lower the O/U even more....

Too many plays for me. I do not know how to eliminate some of them. The truth is they win. When I started doing this I hoped for 1 or 2 plays a day. Never did I dream I would get this many!

In the future I will give you my iron clad promise I will post the unit amount of each game. Yesterday I had many many things I was asked to do 2 to 3 hours before the games. I did not post the unit amount and I deleted a play late, but before the game! Rarely do I ever delete a game as I did with the Texas Tech game. It has happened only twice this year. I have been known to add games late but always before the game starts. I can do nothing about either. My added games have gone 4-0 and both my deleted games lost. You might want to see if I have posted after 7:00 Eastern time. It is probably about a game that evening.

I will give you a little tip in the NBA . The Eastern conference teams were 20 games to the good involving point spread wins when playing Western conference teams as of Tuesday. They are a full 3 points better on average over teams that have the same record from the Western Conf !!!!
I think there is a profit to be made when they meet each other. This will probably disappear in 10 or 12 games though.

professor, just curious what your units are? You've got 15 unit plays and I play 100 a unit so a 15 unit play would be a huge unit play for me.
I take half of my unit play (15) and make that into the % I want to play. Half of 15 is 7 1/2 so I play 7 1/2 %. A $2000 bankroll would call for $150. When I double my money from all my plays I take half of the profit and sock it away. If I have a $ 2000 bankroll and get it to $4000, then I made $2000. Half that is $1000. I now have $3000 and repeat the process. I have to get that to $6000. When I do I take half of the profit which is $1500 and repeat the same process. I now have $4500 and repeat the same process. I have not been playing games for a while until last year. I started again after a 10 year sabbatical. I made a nice chunk of money and lived off that. My health went bad on me for a while and most my whole family died on me so I am at it again. I need the money. It is much easier to make money when the internet became available especially with Matchbook . If you use this money management program with my picks you can be wealthy in 2 or 3 years . I use it and it works.

It is honestly impossible to follow with all the take backs right before game time and after last night the I meant to play the otehr teams...I honestly can't follow with the thought in the back of my mind that you will pull a game off at the last minute or say that you bet the other way...It looked interesting but you need to keep good communication and not wait till the next day to cover up your mistake seein as people might be following your picks...professor it looks like you have some great experience but we need to know we can trust and play the picks you put up

W Virg has been stumbling and lost 5 point spreads in a row . Last week the " How did those teams do that " game was Tenn and Temple. There will be more of those. It is the nature of predicting to experience them .I look at myself the same way as a stock broker performs his predicting. I attempt to see when teams are bottoming out or peaking . And when they are streaking either forward or backward. When a game like today happens it is likely the team and or teams are changing character.

Will give you some good info later on about dealing with bad days. One college play today Youngstown St. No NBA plays. Also smart money is on this game. The smart money players as a composite did not have a good day yesterday to say the least. They were on my side 7 times and the games went 1 -5 -1. They were on the other side of me in one game and they lost. days like yesterday happen. They come out of no where .The books likely lost yesterday. Public money was hitting. I will find out for sure.
In the football bowl game I talked about in another posting (Ariz) the public liked Brigham Young ( 2/3 of all money). Smart money liked Ariz. I did not play the game. I hit W F as a 15 unit play( posted) and Color St Showed you how to figure it ) as a hot cold play against the very bad point spread team Fresno State.
If you can figure it out. Todays bowl game has 8 streams of smart money on it and the other team has a lot of public money on it. After today I will post my bowl game picks before talking to the sports services that I sometimes communicate too.

New Eng needs to win. Ariz has clinched and is playing in the cold and the east coast where they are notoriously bad.
Of course there is the all year round non- contenders who think of end of season games like playoff games. They want to beat the contenders. Are there any of those game today?
I think Philly is highly motivated today . They are playing a last year contender team that totally faded in the last half of this year.
It is a very good card this week. I am 2-0 and expect that will increase by tonight.
Thursday Indy ( -6 ) played Jack who were in the playoffs last year. Jacksonville found a way to lose the spread. Baltimore played Dallas yesterday and would have been eliminated had they not won, though Dallas is not in good shape if they lost they still have a chance.

I wound up 14 units behind from Thursday to Sunday but was ahead for the week slightly from Mon thru Wenesday games. I was amazingly hot my first 10 weeks in football and mildly behind In the past 6 weeks. Read my posting ,it is interesting. Dr Doom paid me an unexpected visit this week end.
Tonight i have a 15 unit play. I have been perfect with 15 unit plays this year. I hope that continues. One bit of warning this is the end of the beginning of basketbal NCAA. One week before Christmas thr Dec 27th there is not nearly the ratio of winners as earlier on. The Holiday season, semester tests, and the start of conference play right around the corner alters practice routines. Teams playing badly can and do turn things around more often in this time frame then any other. Things stablize themselves after New Years ans stay that way thru the tournaments.

I was amazingly hot my first 10 weeks in football and mildly behind In the past 6 weeks. Read my posting ,it is interesting. Dr Doom paid me an unexpected visit this week end.
Tonight i have a 15 unit play. I have been perfect with 15 unit plays this year. I hope that continues. One bit of warning this is the end of the beginning of basketbal NCAA. One week before Christmas thr Dec 27th there is not nearly the ratio of winners as earlier on. The Holiday season, semester tests, and the start of conference play right around the corner alters practice routines. Teams playing badly can and do turn things around more often in this time frame then any other. Things stablize themselves after New Years ans stay that way thru the tournaments.

Smart money has landed on San. Fran.

I have another play that you should have gotten on your own. Memphis LAL.9( Memphis) That is a solid hot cold play. They are worth 5 units. the Orlando GS game is worth another 5 units because it also is a hot -cold play along with being a regular 10 unit play. I posted the information on how to decipher these plays.You have to do it yourself. Orlando is a 15 unit play, N J is a 10 unit play and Memphis is a 5 unit play ! When I post in this post section I will not post hot- cold( type1) plays. You must add that on yourself. I will give you type 2 hot - cold plays because I did not explain it.

I figured out something about the NCAA games going into the last 2 weeks before Christmas. Not as many games are played. The meaning between games is lessened and teams who are struggling have more time to overcome their deficiencies. I knew in the past Christmas week was the least productive time for me. It still is. Also it is the time when heavy under dogs beat the spread far more often then not. Check out the past week.They are far ahead. There are games today like that.

It is up to you to find the hot cold method that made Orlando a 15 unit play from 10 units. I gave you the formula. Memphis was a hot cold play yesterday. N. Jer. lost and I had 2 pushes and 1 lose in the other college games. Next year I will not play college games from Dec17th thru Dec 27th. There are many gaps between games and semester tests make it tougher to handicap.
I expect college results to be in the 60%+ range after the gap season.
