Do you blame Mavin for wanting the referral bonuses? Even knowing this if I could sign up without having to go through a bunch of bs because I'm in the us I would. I wouldn't follow him on his trades, but might as well give him the bonus since it doesn't effect me. He didn't clutter the investment forum or anything he kept it to one thread maybe 2 at most.
I don't know about aliases on Mavin's part as if you followed or visited his famous NBA make steady monthly earning thread - you'd know that many great cappers from there followed him into binaries and quite successfully. Who? Phixer for an instance, Kingmidastouch - both were great earners in NBA and continued here as well. I trade binaries (although only posted few trades at the beginning of his contest) and also with optionrally and have a hard time to believe Mavin gets any bonuses for sign ups as the things he got for me as upgrade into VIP account, ipad for julian sorrel if you remember, and some other help he always gave the guys from here - optionrally would rather have him on a short leash than give him bonuses. His trades are genuine and as a trader who checks each of the trade published here - I can tell you that he's not only pretty good, but probably the best. Remember that Cherry Coke BS from HSM? She was charging money and lost all the money for people and disappeared while Mavin never ever asked anyone for anything and keeps being profitable over extended period of time.
Now this jebaum character with his aliases (not too smart I must say) actually constructed for Covers to move the thread to here as they were the only ones to talk about the things prohibited by the rules as twitter accounts and the new website. I ask myself - why? You should too. I respect what you're saying but stating as a fact that Mavin  - who's earnings were well documented and never hid the losses or avoided discussing them - needed bonuses from us to make earnings is a bit fictional. I do know for a fact from people who were MK's followers and even Allall that Mavin is indeed a financial wizard and works for EDC absolutely volunteering and on top contributing from his pocket. I do know for a fact that he turned many people down who offered him money for tutoring them or offered him money to be their mentor. Visit his facebook and you will see that among many of his friends - almost all of the followers here are factual people with legit and long going facebook accounts who discuss the trades with him there . I believe in Mavin and those who have been reading my posts know that I am not an easy person to persuade to believe in anything

By the way - there is a new poster who calls himself MonsterKiller - I certainly hope he has anything to do with MK as MonsterKiller was a code name for him we all could recognize him by. Now if he's back - that would be fantastic as he was a best sports handicapper here ever

Nicely put. Except one thing that I must testify on - I offered Mavin to pay pal him some $ on two occasions as a gratitude for very successful trading days and both times he refused while the second time he did it in very harsh terminology - so me too have a hard time believing he really gets bonuses of us although me too - wouldn't mind if he did as you said as long as it doesn't affect us and more so he's not putting us on sacrificial altar and not trying to lose our money as some sports cappers sometimes do for their affiliate earnings

Anyone implying that I benefit financially anything from trying to help you create an extra source of steady income is off the mark in a good case and liar or stupid in a worse one.
One way or another - I don't care as a vast majority of my followers if not all know who I am and what and why am I doing this. Those who think otherwise are welcome to say thanks and go their own way.
All the shameful charade created here by some has to stop so we can focus back on trading resuming tomorrow. interestingly enough all this happens while we having the best trading days ever while all August days have been profitable.
May be some thought should be given to "why this thread was moved to here and who were the initiators of it and why covers cooperated with such questionable practice".
One way or another - I'm done talking about anything but trading.

Oh, for goodness sake, this thread is devolving into inanity. Did someone leave the cages unlocked again?
I agree with Bill, I think anyone should take the referral bonuses when offered, it would be stupid not to. This is more about Lance Armstrong. There's a word for bicycle racers  who don't use performance enhancers; it's losers. Every Tour de France winner in the last 20 years has used something and everyone knows it. They weren't all caught. It was Lance's sanctimonious posturing that annoyed people.
This beserker charade is pathetic[c'mon people,Beserker? who's in charge of screen names here?] I speak passable Spanish  and bad French but there's no way that I could imitate whatever that gypsy gibberish is.  What exactly would be the point of making an alias that comes right out and says he speaks for you?
I live in Oregon, we're not USA, CIA fans. We're better known as Commie, tofu eating hippy's and sarcastic hipster  metrosexuals. We love Canadians but our western branch Canucks, have serious trust issues with the eastern branch Torontonians; I think it's the politicians and big business that they have issues with. It's the same for us and Washington ,D.C.
Sportsmavin isn't a bad trader. When he's conservative like he's been after his big day on the first [which was reckless but a winner] He can actually be quite good. His overall record last time it was published way back in July was172-119; multiply the 172 by 72%[I think that's about average payout] you  get about 124, so 124-119 is not bad , just overhyped, and you get a little kickback on the losers. Since then there was an awful stretch in July where sportsmavin kept doubling up off losers and kind of went all to hell as did the record keeping. I think if not for stretches like that of wild excessive trading to pump his record back up his overall record would be better. So it does seem like the promotion side has had a negative impact on his trading side which is unfortunate because as I stated, he can be quite good at times.
So, more transparency, less attempts to pump the record, better record keeping, use realistic amounts and everybody's a winner. I'd even support you.
Now as far as this place goes, website promotions; it's a dead zone. Like the island of trash somewhere in the Pacific, we've heard about it but no one goes there. So we're basically talking to ourselves here.  Wild and crazy attempts to discredit each other are kind of pointless not to mention silly looking. I don't think they inspire any investor confidence. For me this thread is like Walmart, I pop in for a quart of oil but it's a little embarrassing to be seen there, so you won't see much more of me here.

Now,  how about a contest to pick a better name for the alias of the alias who claims to be my alias.     Jablonski,  Jebroni,  and the winnner is Jeblome.  Every post can start with the phrase  " Would Jeblome, please tell us"     That would be SO GREAT! I could get a Southpark episode!

jebaum - please - can you get me rid of your presence please! Nothing you can say or will say means anything to me as you falsely accused me things I don't even want to repeat. You lied hoping that your guessing would be right but it is not. You can't tell me I am doing things which I know I am not. So the whole story you invented is disgusting for me and I don't care if you have or not aliases. The fact is that you're a sick person and although trying to project you're intelligent - you're not. You need help and sooner you'll get it better it will be for you. You're not welcome here in my thread and find yourself some other venues to kill your time. I tried to help you with all good intentions and you turned out to be a disgusting person that I don't want to be associated with. Adios
