Ultimate Race Picks

I was looking at the leaderboard and noticed one of the people near the top had 3 picks still pending. They were all NHL games/picks. How was this allowed. It does not appear to be fair in my opinion. I don't know much about hockey and would love the option to pick NBA or NCAA basketball or NFL games only.

I read something from an earlier post from years back which states this is legal based on the timing of making picks. I will analyze this tecchnique and try to use to my advantage as others have,

All timing of when you make your picks. It's really quite simple.  If you can't decide on a winner in the Thursday night game.  Just wait until that game has started then you can double up on another sport.  Must have been no other late starts last night so he went with his jockey picks.  Looks like he went 1-2 on them.  Should be happy about that.
