If anyone knows anything about CG, his "capping" involves taking teams that have been good to him in the past. And he won bets on these EXACT SAME MATCHUPS. (I believe they were on the same day as well)
It's like the stars are aligned for a bomb.

Larry Brown was brought to SMU for one reason...the very spot they are in right now. They haven't won a conference tourney since 1988.

And you take the defending champs who are nowhere near the same team as last year and you get this curious line of 3.5.
SMU had an underwhelming win last time out and that gives them an opportunity to shore up their deficiencies when it counts...which is right now against the reigning champs.
This is another rough spot and the parlay is atrocious on top of it.
Disgusting capping through and through. I can only see the number getting you there in a squeaker with an SMU win and that is the best case scenario. Worst case? SMU puts em to bed and the points will be totally meaningless.

I would be nervous putting good money on them getting only a few points. But I haven't watched SMU play at all, so my perspective is shallow, and one sided. UCONN always seems to F me too, when they aren't supposed to, and they probably won't go out without a fight, so we'll see.
Is SMU pretty much a lock to make the tourney, regardless of what happens today? I know last year they were left out, and upset about it. Just wondering if they need this one to get in?
