I can assure you, they are not.
These individuals have a stated aim to encourage and promote the destructive behaviors they connect with "having fun in Vegas" or "being young and partying". Obviously, the great majority of these behaviors are not conducive to success in any endeavor, much less handicapping for a living.
They do not care about CG or his bankroll, only their own vicariously selfish desires and gratification they will receive by watching him crash and burn spectacularly.
The reasons for their craven, self serving catcalls are numerous but primarily seated in their own low self esteem, parental domination and bullying issues or a host of other dysfunctional psychiatric tropes.
The bottom line is that you have not seen anything yet. It gets much worse than this.
