I don't care how it ends. Good, bad, funny or not. Once you start a story- finish it.

It's like reading a book and once you're finished you noticed last 20 pages are missing. What good is that?

Many of the recommended strategies are just too 20th century. You gots to be clever and with and Schecky Green-like. Since she is educated apparantly and clever historical remark like, "Charley don't surf, skank", may do the trick.
