Do these words sound like a man who is confident in how hes playing????
But for now, Nadal was focussed on his stunning victory over Almagro. "I played great tennis in that moment [from 5-6, 0/40], the only moment," said Nadal, smiling. "For the rest of the match, I am very lucky to be in third round. I didn't play well. I was practising really well in Mallorca, but when I arrived here, it's tough to [get] good rhythm. I have another chance to improve tomorrow. I hope [I] don't play worse. I think the win today is a very important win, and I am going to have another chance tomorrow to improve."
After his emotional win saving 5 match points and having to play the next day, i see some value in robredo @ +375 . Watching the match, Nadal was floating a lot of balls with his backhand and wasnt showing much pop on his forehand, he didnt look good to me at all. On the other hand Robredo is coming off a straight set victory. Countrymen battle it out in this one.
I like Tommy here +375 for 1 unit.

If you know anything about Nadal is that he is ultra humble. I'm not one bit surprised with him being honest about his performance. He was saying the same kind of things in the first few rounds of the US open. Almagro is a player that stylistically gives Nadal problems on hard (good serve, heavy groundstrokes). Nadal simply doesnt lose against his countrymen. After today hes now 10-0 combined against Almagro/Robredo. Hes 45-5 in his last 50 against players from Spain and something like 72-12 all time. Its quite obvious that the players from his country seem intimidated when they play Rafa.
Robredo I dont trust. If Rafa was playing someone like Soderling, Gonzanlez or Tsonga, second tier players, then I might be able to get on board with them beating Rafa. You could be right but the statistical evidence of Rafa vs his countrymen is quite astounding.

yeah ive seen those numbers also delpo..good information. Hopefully Tommy can get some penetrating balls on Rafa and doesn't play too defensively..hes gonna have to go for his shots to get this one.
still think TR is worth a sprinkle,
good luck whoever you play

another shaky match from rafa but he survives yet again...
hes an underdog against tsonga tomorrow. certainly no gifts from linesmakers here...
Now heres a player that I can get on board with beating a out of form Rafa. His serve and groundstrokes will give Rafa fits. I dont think for one second that Rafa will be the underdog odds wise tho.
