I give it about 2 yrs. He's finished. Once he realizes he can't win another major he will hang them up. More than likely he's gonna need major knee surgery which will put him down a full yr. The rehab isn't going to end up being enough.
2 grand slam wins later (french and us open 2013 AFTER you posted this nonsense back in feb, and the only person done is YOU.
please please please stop talking about rafa as you have absolutely NO IDEA what you are talking about.
leave the analysis of his games to guys like myself and others in this forum who truly follow the game and know when he's right and when he's not.

The power of performance enhancing drugs. Nadal has inhuman endurance given his grinding style of play. That's the most glaring advantage Nadal has over everyone else. He makes Borg look like an out of shape chain smoker.
When this happens, there has to be a reason. Look at Lance Armstrong, Andre Agassi among many others.
Time will tell.

if it was "inhuman" then Rafa would not have 2 long breaks from tennis due to his knees. what you are witnessing is what happens when a player with chronic tendinitis takes enough time away from the game to heal, plus he improved his serve immensely.
he only had one tough match the entire us open, and that was against Djoko.
did you see "inhuman" endurance in the first 6 matches he played in the tourney? no because he ran dudes off the court with an amazing service game where he was never broken, and an incredible return game. he is playing shorter points and coming to the net more than any other time in his history.
enough of the PED accusations. the dude and Uncle Toni are the absolute shittt and they deserve their due

lol this thread. Idiots. He proved this year he is still one of the best players in the sport. Hes not going anywhere. He's going to win 12 French's by the time his career is done. He won't be beat at Roland Garros anytime soon. He'll win at a couple other events also. He will pass Roger at some point.

Nadal fanatic here since 2003 (obviously 2 years before he even won his first french). i know he has 8 french's but my gut feel is he wins two more that's it. he's losing his grip at the venue against djoko. last 2 yrs djoko was a few pts away from the momentum needed to take the match.
check back in june 2017 after that year's french, and i believe you'll see he'll have won two between 2014 and 2017. you might even see it by 2016 if not sooner.
again, rafa is my favorite and it's not even close. i have not missed a single of his 13 slam finals nor the olympic gold. i can tell you the grip will slowly be lost he approaches 28 yrs old next french open.
