Zand and Lestienne reached the final last week in Doha now they playing Sasha who hasn’t played double since early 2022.

I would give Diana a +50% chance on a normal day agianst Mertens, now right before Indian Wells I think she will have even a better chance. Top players don’t care about  250 events the week before a 1000 event. Diana needs points and will have a good chance this week to win her first WTA title with almost all the seeded players already out.

I can see a slow start from Medvedev here who played a lot of matches and is always better agianst top player. We saw him last week against Broady and O’Connor
