Now I will put a little more on Davydenko at this price. Everyone jumping on Nadal now as maybe they don't think Djoko and Nadal can lose on same day, who knows. This will be a tough match though. Davydenko had problems with his breathing the other day and you know Rafa will run him around some. However I think it is Davydenko that will control the rallies and put away some of the short balls that Rafa will serve up on his backhand. On a scale of 1-5 I rate this as a 2 unit bet on Davydenko. Good luck.

I rate it as a 4 on the same scale. Maybe 4.5. GL bud!
I hear ya I just hate betting big against Rafa. That's a dangerous game. The guy leaves his blood on the court. A great guy to back and a dangerous guy to fade. Regardless my bet is on Davydenko today LOL. Good luck lets get this home buddy.
Gonna start looking at the Fed-Delpo match to see of Delpo has a chance.

Myself I think Fed would be very motivated to get revenge there but if they go overboard with his fave juice as they so often do I will go small the other way. Del Potro always has a chance, but in this situation I think the deck is stacked against him. I like Fed under -250 and love him under -200.

Yeah melrose I came strong on Tsonga and gave it about the same rating and was wrong there so who knows. But even there he had tons of chances to take that first set but choked tons of times. I never liked Tsonga much anyway but I have respected Davydenko since the first time I saw him play.
I expect Nadal to fight hard, make a few awesome topspin forehand curl-in winners, BUT also get overpowered some by brilliant shots, have a few bad service games and tighten up toward the end of each set if things are still even. I think he wants to end #2 this year and do well here and those desires seeming so hard to meet in this setting is leading to more stress than I have seen him exude all year. In other words I think his desire to win today might be so great that it almost backfires on him. He is going to have to walk one hell of a tightrope to win today even if Davydenko plays his C game and if Davy brings his A game I think it is out of Nadal's hands entirely.
OK I am going to STFU and go play some poker. Can't wait! Glad to see so many good cappers on this one. If the result is misery for me at least there will be company, haha. A cash here and this will be one of my best tennis weeks of the year, no contest.

yeah I honestly do not know what the fuck all these people are thinking. went from -130 Dav Nadal EVEN to -115 each. I dislike seeing late money against me but they are not always right and sometimes can be way off base.

Davydenko has been taking some pills because he has some breathing issues. That's why people are betting Nadal.
Interesting angle is that if Davydenko wins his remaining 2 matches with a 2-0 and a 2-1 or both 2-0 he will be automatically qualified and there is nothing that Djokovic could do in his last match. Djokovic has a chance exclusively if Davydenko wins both matches 2-1 winning in straight against Nadal (if he wins 2-1 against Nadal is out).
To make a long story short, tonight's match is huge!
Depending on what the outcome of the match will be I wouldn't be surprised to see Soderling tank the last match in order to eliminate what is the biggest threat to his eyes whether his loss to Davydenko in the last match will do so (thinking Nadal if he wins tonight or Djokovic).
I was at both matches yesterday and was at the afternoon match today. Now my tickets are finished I feel pretty lucky however because all 3 matches were entertaining in their own way.

I saw you lost on Verdasco, sorry. I lost 0.4 units on my future on him myself He just isn't ready to be a real threat despite he came close against both Federer and Del Potro. I expected him to come out strong and he did, however he seems to always find a way to lose against better opponents. Yesterday he should have taken it, deserved it cos he played very well for 2/3 of the match, but lost it in the TB.
0-14 for his last 14 matches against Top 10

I don't have a bet on this pre match. I will watch how both will look in the first few games and will bet in play.
Djokovic was completely drained out today after the long 3 setter against Davydenko. Davy could also have some difficulties today given he is on some pills and apparently he can't breathe properly.
Rafa was poor against Soderling but Djokovic's loss gave him some hope therefore I expect him to come out and show what he is made of.
Possibly these 2 guys will split the first 2 sets.

hey bud didn't want to bump an old thread but... wanted to thank you for that Raiders pick. I parlayed their moneyline with Djoker over Davy just for a fun unit and it actually hit! I had no opinion on the game and took a shot since you seemed so uber strong on them. Good stuff man.

Well if his breathing issues fatigue or hamper him too much he will hopefully retire and void the bet for me. But all of this has me more worried than I was before reading it... but I am still champing at the bit for this one to start!

Actually I think Davy is out if Djoker beats Nadal. If Davy won both matches there would be a 3 way tie, but Soderling would be the clear winner because of sets won percentage. Then it would be Davy/Djoker tiebreaker for the second spot. Head to head comes first so Djoker would advance regardless of his worse sets record. I could be wrong because it's confusing but I think that's how it goes.

I had a huge wager ATS and a medium on the ML. Ended up cleaning up on that one but feel extremely lucky for how the last 30 seconds of that game ended!
Raiders
Glad you made some!
I hope Davy comes through tonight for you, hopefully he will be in 'finish him' mode. I remember perfectly how Davydenko dominated Nadal last year in Miami and earlier this year in Shangai, so it will be on his racket. I just think he might have some health issues if the match goes distance so I want to watch a few games to look at how both players react against each other at first. I think this is 50/50 so odds are accurate.
