This guy was playing solid clean Tennis today up 6-4 3-1 and 1 point from 4-1, meanwhile Paire was losing his mind, spraying the court, pretty much conceding the match.
Then all of a sudden, when all Bedene has to do is stay solid to the finish line, he tries his 1st drop shot of the match, which was ugly and blows game point for 4-1, Paire wins the game and Bedene truens into a huge bitch the rest of the match.
Simply put, Bedene is simply not ready for the ATP. In his mind he shouldn't of won today's match and it showed.

I'm still trying to figure out how he lost the match. Like you said he was in complete control and all he had to do was stay solid and he wins the match. I can't believe he crumbled to that whack job Paire.

He either let Paire's antics rattle him or he didn't believe in himself to finish/win the match. It was his own undoing, it was not normal. You have to really try hard to blow the match in his pocket like he did today.
He started to change his game up and be more aggressive for whatever reason. It all started when he tried that stupid drop shot with the court wide open. All he had to do was keep the ball in play.

Bedene is like Paire, Zemlja, Klizan, Dolgopolov, Bellucci, Gulbis and Dimitrov and Tomic etc....so much natural talent but mental midgets thus far in their respective careers....so many players in history just lack that special key ingredient of mental toughness which separates the good players from the great.
For me, i always have to remind myself to remember who the mental midgets are before betting
Agreed.
During the Bedene/Paire match, the 1st half of the match was Bedene playing well and Paire a complete hot head because of it. Paire totally lost it mentally IMO.
The 2nd half was Bedene not knowing how to handle the situation correctly, then turning into a biatch after he screws up when he didn't even need to do anything special. I have no idea what Bedene was thinking, I really don't. Bedene missed some stupid shot and allowed Paire to calm down. Paire finally calmed down and drove thru the huge driveway Bedene paved for him.

Alund is getting broken at will by Ginepri. Alund isn't very good at all. I'm pretty sure Vistoria Azarenks could beat Alund tonight. This goes to show how done Hewitt is.
