Who used to do the RPI System?

will they be doing it again this season? I downloaded the 2013 spreadsheet, but for some reason when I clock the Refresh Odds button the web query returns no data. Anyone know why?

Dan ran it last year. i remember him saying that he will do it again this year. 

If the originator of the system, B2W, doesn't reappear to run it, I'd be more than happy to do so again. I did not create the spreadsheet though so we may need an Excel guy to lend a hand. Although this is not difficult to track manually.

This system does not start until May 1. There will be a new thread started as we get closer.

Last year was not good. We had the most losses the system ever had.

Record: 104-7

• A: 66-45
• B: 27-18
• C: 11-7

We then did an unofficial run through September which went 27-1.

 dou you have the record for MLB RPI system only taking the home team???

plus, would be great to have the numbers on RL-1 or RL-1.5

Out of the 7 losses last year, 5 were when we were targeting the visiting team. I do not have a further breakdown of the A-C games based on Home or away.

I also did not track RL as it is not a part of the system

im planning make some research, for a modify mode of this system, just taking the home team and the difference in the RPI its +75, to reduce the juice making it RL-1.

any idea how can i make the research in an easy way

I noticed less losses to if we played on teams with 10 wins above the .500 mark. Maybe a filter we should put in to increase the winning percentage this season. Also the teams last ten games to stay teams not playing well.

Dan I did a back test for last year. If a team was 15 games over .500 and they were playing a team that was 15 games below .500 I believe there were no losses. You can back test if you want to verify the results.
