What is arbitrage? Does it REALLY work?

Has anyone tried this "Arbitrage" system? 

Arbitrage definately works.  Or else it wouldnt be called arbitrage. But in order to use arbitrage correctly, you need access (and capital) to multiple books.  Not 5 or 6, but pretty much 10+.  All the big books, maybe a few locals and really maximize your exposure.  Also, to make any real profit off of it requires a LOT of $$$. 

Not worth the time and effort if you ask me.  Plus you need a shitload of cash to make it worth it.

both above points are legitimate and well worth considering.  unless you have diversified your sources AND bet $500/$1000+ each game it probably isn't worth your time or effort.
