Tracking Free Picks Long Term...

I want to track at least 100 free posted picks using Excel. This project will not yield any results for at least 28 more days. The idea is to track on a daily basis whether the free posted pick was Won/Lost. The idea is the posted picker with the highest won percentage will not stay on top long once a 30+ pick record is established for 30+ pick posters.

Is anyone interested in working on this with me?

hey prime1, i sent a friend request,,,,, i've been tracking some stuff too, maybe we'll compare notes ,,,,,,,,,,, interested in hearing your thoughts and strategies!!! 

I have ditched the free picks... For several reasons.

1. I have been burned too many times following someone and they picked ATS or Totals and I went with them or faded them and had to take more or less points and they won and I lost or the opposite I lost and they won on a fade.

Moral of the story is I am only interested in a system where I follow MLB and NHL Sides bets. The ML might change but a winning bet is not determined by points, strictly by who wins.

2. I am focused on handicappers that bet everyday or at a minimum 95% of the time.

By focusing on handicappers that bet very very regularly I am finding that comparing them head to head works much better and much more reliably than trying to compare handicappers where one bets once a week and the other everyday. Even using winning percentage to compare them does not work. There is still the anomalies where a once a week better wins consistently and a different once a week better loses consistently. I have found that very very consistent betters have much more predictable an consistent extremes.

3. Very very consistent betters tend to post earlier than most betters.

It is a pain in the ass to want to follow or fade someone and they post picks at the last minute or starting a 5+ day skip in their pick posting.
