Has anyone used this strategy before? Bet on top favorite with a four game chase? Odds get real high but looks like only one loss in the last three years, just wondering if anyone uses something like this, or similar?

Yes, only chasing 4 games using Martingale System. Odds become way to high to continue though I think, especially if it goes to the fourth game.

I factored that into my play on the phillies last night. It was the 4th game of the chase so I decided to play them rather than lay off....... Ended up getting hammered......
This seems like a bad yr - I suggest playing smaller units if you decide to play.

Yes I think that is the second loss this season. Luckily I have been playing very small units just incase because the odds are so high. I think I am going to wait for two losses before I start like you Cisco. Seems more logical and safer.

I was thinking of doing a labby line money management for this except I was thinking of using the runline or the runline for the 1st 5 innings, both of these lower odds in combination with a labby line would mean you only need to hit around 40-50% of your bets to profit from it.

I play the biggest dog of the day (PL+1,5), exactly the opposite.

Another play is a 3 game chase on top +1.5 run favorite. 27-9 for the season with longest losing streak of 2 games, so 27-0 on 3 game chase. Laying heavy odds however.

Yeah you have to post the units lost for those nine games and give us your net units won/lost.

Actually I need to correct my earlier post, currently on a 1 game loss so the 27-0 chase is wrong, should be 27-0 with a chase pending after 1 loss.

The units lost for those nine games was 24.7 including the current loss. The wins are 51 units, which includes making up the losses on 8 of 9 wins. Total for YTD is +26.3 units. The one current losing streak is 1.7 units thanks to TB yesterday at -170.

 

My 5 run chase is 63-0 thanks to the RL+1.5. I'm a big believer in this.

 Nicely done. What are you using as a filter or rules for betting? It's probably posted on here but man there are a lot of systems that people post.
