I've been using this for a few months and have been profitable (a couple of sweeps of favorites have cut into the profits lately but the dogs have helped tremendously over the long haul). I don't normally advocate a chase system b/c it's a recipe for disaster but here is what I've been doing:
I analyze series' as they're about to and handicap which team I feel is more likely to win at least one game in a particular series based on several factors (scheduled pitching matchups, home/away records, who needs wins more for playoff push, hot/coldness). Once I determine who I think has the best chance to win I play that team in game one for 1 unit. If I win I'm done with that series, if I lose I play the team again in the second game for whatever I lost on game one, plus 1 unit. I do this until I win at least 1 unit on the team (when chasing a dog the profit is usually greater than 1 unit). I only lose when a team I pick to win a game in a series gets swept. I only play series' that are at least 3 game series'. I don't limit it to one series at a time either, I might a whole bunch of series' going at once.

I think this system has potential if you have really strict money management. Playing a bunch of series at a time could result in disaster! Can you post your plays??
