Thoughts for a new system

However, I was thinking about betting on teams that are still in the playoff chase not to get swept by a teams that has already been eliminated.  I know it is not undefeated in the last few years without checking because I remember the BOSOX losing a bunch at the end of the year a couple of years ago.  However, it may be pretty solid still.

Don't have time to back-check it now, but maybe can in a couple of weeks.  If anyone has the time to, that would be great.  Anyways, just thinking......

I was looking at a system like that starting at the all star break with teams that were within 5 games of the last wild card spot.  I was looking at the 2012 season.  I didn't have a chance to finish (going to do that in the offseason) but I believe some filters were needed.

Could filter out any teams that have a winning pct less than .400 or so in last 10 games or something to that effect.

Those teams wouldn't be part of the system though, right?  You said you were looking to bet on teams that were still in the race.  No team with a winning % under .400 is going to be in a pennant race.
