Spring Fever - MLB Futures Analysis

I&#x27;m a little anxiuos for the baseball season to get going. So i sit here in February with 6 inches of snow on the ground and sitting in my Brewers jersey. I created this file in the link below for an analysis of the futures odds for all of the MLB teams.  I used the stats from all of the players since 2007 to forecast their stats in the upcoming year.  I then used the Pythagorean expectation formula to figure out the winning percentage for each team.  It is kind of interesting and could be another tool for anyone wanting to place some futures. I&#x27;m thinking another use would be during the season when a team starts "bad" and their odds are lowered! OK im not talking a St Louis of last year but atleast getting the value out of the teams!
