prof8t, do you mind explaining how you use the Labouchere system here, i.e. what you would bet on Game 1, then 2, etc.? Feedback would be appreciated. Good to see you covered half of it today...although TB not scoring an extra run was BS. Detwiler was way off today.
The Labouchere system can be used with the Run Line Blitz system just as with any other system. I like the system because you risk less than the double up system. As with all of the systems I play, I currently start a Labouchere line bet to win with about .002% of my bankroll. Thats less than half a percent, however, I am using a bankroll that is over six figures. I wouldn't suggest using any more than 1%, preferably 0.5% for chase systems. The key to my profits is to make very small gains. These small gains add up over a month to a very nice profit.
Hope this helps.

I am going to assume andy that what you were asking for was an explanation of what the Labouchere system actually is, here is what I found on the internet. I have never used this but I think I might start.

prof8t and jimmy, thanks for the insight. I do understand the methodology of the system and how it manages money and should increase profits.
One last question, prof8t...how many are in your series for each labouchere line? Meaning, when you first start, say to win 1 unit...is it 1 1 1 1 1, or 1 1 1 1, etc.?
Thanks.

Sorry, I lied. One more question...do you have 6 lines for each game of the system? Been doing research on the Labouchere method and some chase systems have a line for each game of the chase.
I guess the main part of my confusion is how Labouchere works into a chase. To clarify, a game in the system might CLEAR a series but you might not actually completely cover the Labouchere line, right?
For instance...
1 1 1 1 Bet 2, lose 2 1 1 1 1 2 Bet 3, lose 3 1 1 1 1 2 3 Bet 4, win 4
So you win the series, but do not clear the line? And you come out of the series with a negative amount of money?
Again, apologies for all the questions.

I use one line for the chase and split it sometimes. Can't explain how I determine the split, I just do it sometimes. Like for instance, the last run line play on TB. I split the line between TB and LAA. I added up the line and bet it on LAA. Won the LAA bet and lost the TB Bet. Then I took the entire TB line, added it up and bet that on the Lakers game that night. There was no real set theory behind this move other than to recoup some loses. Just made sense to do so, however, my bankroll was deep enough that had I lost these, I could make new Labouchere lines at those starting points. In the end, I ended up profiting from this move.
I do find the idea of having aline for every game in a chase quite interesting. I'll have to look into that.

hard to explain, but a good example to express concept of MM, and it's many applications...good job prof8t

Thanks again for the insight, prof8t. So to clarify again, you using Labouchere with this system, you could win a series but not make back all the $ bet on the series, correct?
