There's a lot of talk about what percent of your bank role to wager on each bet - my question is do you risk the same amount on each bet, or bet to win the same amount on each bet. I am conflicted on which approach is best, especially since my bets range from big dogs to big favs.
Any advice is appreciated...

when betting dogs i like to keep a set number and use that number to risk...as for favourites I usually bet to win $xxx. if you bet large favourites obviously its risking a big chunk but thats the price you pay when betting favs. Just try to keep your bets around 2% each of your br, if you have a small BR and willing to risk you can go upto 5% a bet.
