Take a look at these 2 system results (both with the same record)
and tell me which one of these system results would you
have more confidence in betting?

Both systems after a 100 games have a record of 60-40(60%),
however........

system 1 got the 60-40 record over 10 years by going
6-4 each of those 10 years.

system 2 also got a 60-40 record, except it was for 3 years by going
20-10 each of those years.

Would you have more confidence betting on system 1
or system 2?

20-10 times 3 is 60-30.I don&#x27;t have much confidence in your math, but (for example) football and basketball are quite different; i.e. 16 games vs. 82 games.  It takes longer to obtain a comparable data set from FB, but 100 games = 100 games in terms of statistical reliability.More games per season = more betting opportunities, not necessarily more profitable ones.60-40 = 60-40 regardless of time span, assuming you are betting pointspreads and not money lines.
