Preseason Total Chase

I back tested this for the last 3 years.  You wait until week 2 of the preseason is complete.  Any teams that have gone over or under in each game to that point you fade until the opposite happens.  You only chase weeks 3 and 4.  If 2 teams are playing each other and they both have gone over or under up to that point, you double play it.  2006 yielded 4 units, 2007 yielded 8 units, and 2008 yielded 5 units.  Not a bad bankroll stabilizer to kickoff the season.  I have never seen this anywhere, but I am fairly new to the boards.  So if this is old news or someone else's system forgive me.  I dont really know where to find stats past 2006 to test it even further back.  Maybe some of you can go further back or add more insight.  Im starting tonight with Buffalo under 38 against Green Bay.  That could be dangerous since they could possibly take it to a 3 game chase.  Thank goodness I missed their HOF game opponent Tenn. last night.  They now have 3 overs so far with 2 to go and had I been paying closer attention I would have played them under.  So, Buffalo under 38 with the chase really kicking off in week 3.  I will post the plays here.

Just my luck, I can never seem to start anything off on the right foot damn it.

Pitt vs Buff and Cle vs Tenn are opposites so lay off and in week 4 just play the correct pick for the second game of the chase for the appropriate units.

Anyone who is going to try this dont forget that there are 3 games that apply tonight.

I'm giving this a try tonight.  I'm too late for PHI Under but I got the other two.  I shaved half a point off both at Pinny.

In 06, 07, and 08 there were 2 full chase losses each year.  In 06 there were 12 qualified teams.  In 07 there were 16 qualified teams.  In 08 there were 12 qualified teams.  This year there are actually 16 qualified teams, but 4 are playing each other.  I dont know how many played each other in the previous years, but in 07 you have to figure it happened at least twice.  In 06 Game 1 went 7-5 and Game 2 went 3-2.  In 07 Game 1 was 8-8 and Game 2 was 6-2.  In 08 Game 1 was 6-6 and Game 2 was 4-2 for 4 Units and not 5 that I had originally posted.

Missing out on Philly is like winning an extra unit.  Wish I had missed out.  Both games tonight are overs.  Based on the info we have I guess we should expect to basically split the remainder of the game 1's.  Good luck to all who were willing to try this short grind for a little extra.

Based on past results it may be smart to lay off of the rest of the game 1's.  Just take the units an wait for Week 2.  I dont have that option because I made all the bets at 1 time, so I guess I am committed, haha.  Congrats so far and good luck with whatever your choice.

Because Pitt has 2 unders in a row and Buffalo has 3 overs in a row you lay off and save the juice.  In week 4 you play the winner as the second game of the chase.

3 wins and 3 losses on Saturday.  Im with Matchbook, so there was basically no juice for me.  Im just happy to have survived without losing any units on the day.

Glad I waited. I would have chased NYJ Under and I did not realize PIT and TEN were plays until I re-read the fine print in your old post.

 

Kreature, you were right on the Jets game.  Thank God I missed it!  This has proven disastrous.  Since August 10th I had increased my bankroll by 29 units and now I just gave back 8 in 4 hours.  That stings.  I want to chase something bad, but Im going to fight that urge.  I will just stick with the proven systems from this point forward.
