Okay here I will be the better person for all in here. In this system I will break it down for you in 5 parts. You have to look at the stats on the field. The 1st thing we want to look at is drive charts, why do they time everyone in the 40 yd dash? Because it's a 40 yd game! We want to see how many 40 yd drives a team makes and gives up per game. Not 40 yd passes but drives. Since 22% of the plays are not driving the ball...either from kickoffs or punt returns, this leaves 78% of the plays as drives. If you look at the top 2 teams with 40 yd drives they were, the Saints & the Colts, both teams were in the superbowl. If you look at the team with the least amount of 40 yd drives against, it was the Jets. They were in the champoinship game against the Colts. Now what we want to look at....example: Lets say a team has an average of 3.4 40 yd drives on offense and gives up 2.6, they would be a +0.8. Now you want to look at the team the yard playing and take the offensive 40 yd drive from one team to the defensive drive chart of another team and look for the median, this will give you a number. Now we want to take a look at what teams have done against over 500 teams in their drive charts, offensively & defensively. Take that and now find the median that you came up with verse the team your playing, in other words take the over 500 median, the team your playings median & find the median between those 2. That is your base number on your drive chart. Part 2 will be tomorrow.
