I've been seeking a profitable system for parlays, but it took pretty long time to realize there is no such thing. SInce I love parlays I ended up with this: Instead of making a single over/under bet for 20 units, I make a combo with another bet I pick for 13 units. like Boston-Atlanta over+ with Sf-Ny over+ LA over (the last one must be scheduled later)...13 units. And I place 7 units on Boston over, SF under. Now after 2 games if both are over i have the chance to make 90 units. If first one is over second under I get my all money back. So before the last game starts I play 30 units on LA under... If LA is over I make 40 usd profit (I risked only 20 for this) If La is under I make 10 dollars profit. (approx. with the juice) So if I lose the first game I would lose 20 units..But I would loose it anyways if I made a single bet.. Let me you what you guys think..I would also love to hear if anyone has a good parlay system.

I think if you take all A bets on the morrison system for base ball and combine it with a B after an A bet fails. I think this might work out ok for a parlay system. 70% of A bets come in on morrison system for baseball. I'm not sure about B bet percenteges but think it's higher.

ozzanx, You are correct in your assessment on parlay plays; their is No system for success, other than luck..they are fun, recreational, challenging, and can be quite entertaining to a handicapper with skills. they just can't be taken serious.
However, it's the time of year, and the only time, I may add, where parlay receives value based on MLB, NBA, NHL all running at once; this brings a significant advantage/edge to parlay play.
Whatever your handicapping formula's are, or how you initiate your final plays, is your business, but incorperate all three sports to gain value, and lower your risk management. A strong lean would be.......
76er's +6
Panthers -150
Reds +110
Indians +105
Yankees -115 RL

thanks sportsnetworks, you summarized it well.. but since I am not a pro-beter nor a great handicapper, I am stuck in a certain level with single bets. hitting around %50 for months got really boring. so I am trying to find a new strategy..especailly a one that I can cover losses a little bit, in return I don't mind giving up some of my profit. I've been seeking for such a mathematical formula, in soccer they have it as Asian Handicaps but there is none for American sports..I would love to hear such an idea if anyone has any good covering method.
