NHL: Where did the -145 H team 1st of 3 system go?

Does anyone remember the system I am talking about. Someone started a system where you do a 3-game chase on a team that BEGINS a 3-game home stand as long as they are at least -145 for the first game of the series. If I remember correctly - this system has done very well the last two yrs?
