Hard to believe the second place team in the division can be a prohibitive favorite over the leader. Yet here we are and when you think about it, there’s method to the madness. San Diego have been overpriced all season, a team linesmakers had pegged as a prime Super Bowl contender that had been three full games behind Denver with three to play.

But two San Diego road wins coupled with a pair of Denver losses has set up a winner take all shootout at Qualcomm. And that’s what we figure it will be, just like the 39-38 slugfest in Week 2 at Denver. Taking a side in this game is dicey with San Diego 7-8 against the spread and Denver a lowly 4-11. So we’re looking for another shootout, especially with San Diego’s Philip Rivers and Denver’s Jay Cutler combining for over 8,000 passing yards and 56 touchdowns this season. Let the scoring begin.
