MLB RPI SYSTEM

I am still confused. Atlanta played a 4 game series. You would have won either the 2nd A game or the B game. There should have been no reason to play the C game which lost anyway.
Is this just an error?

5/27 - Atlanta -167 = LOSS
5/28 - Atlanta -147 = WIN
5/29 - Atlanta -128 = WIN
5/30 - Atlanta -166 = LOSS

irage, the second game of a 4 game series is only an A game if the first game won, otherwise it's a B game on the first chase.  You only get 2 chases out of it if the first A game wins.  Hope I understood your question.

b2w, this has proved to be the best system I've ever seen, bar none.  I always thought baseball should be the perfect sport for a chase system, if only there were some way to pick which series to chase on.  Who would have thought, pick the really good teams to beat the really bad teams, LOL!

LOL!!!  You're confusing yourself irage. Go back and look at those dates you just posted. CHECK ESPN, MLB.COM or right here on covers. If you don't realize on (MAY) 5/27,5/28, 5/29 they, ATL,  played the CIN Reds (WHICH BTW, WAS NOT A SYSTEM PLAY), and On MONDAY 5/30 they STARTED a new series vs the Padres, Im going to kick ur ass. just kidding of course.  5/27, 5/28, 5/29 is IRRELEVANT with ATL because they were not a system play that weekend.

thank you so much. i spent a good 12 hours calculating and back testing all my theories and i came up with 2 failed underdog systems. im kinda glad they failed bc it gave me motivation to look for other systems and i found this one, but if you come up with something, i'll be on it with you for sure. i'll follow you to the gates of hell! haha

Why is it impossible to bet on NYY (bet B) today?

BOS, NYY & PHI series are cancelled due to hurricane. Wouldnt be able to chase.  

IDK if will do thread again like this unless I find some dog/low juice system to share. it takes a lot of time LOL. It was fun when we had this thing rolling. Felt like you would never lose.

It would be too bad if there's not a thread like this again next year.  A lot of the unofficial plays you guys came up with were pretty good.  Also b2w, this system itself was actually not bad juice early on, juice only started getting really bad later on.  Not only that, but often when there were more than one official series, there would be certain series that the juice wasn't as bad on, anyone could just play those series if they wanted to, a few less plays but still quite a few.

For instance, the first series we played this season started on 4/29.  1st game juice was

CLE +105

KC +105

TEX +100

COL -200

LAD -133

You could have just skipped the Colorado series.  Early in the season, betters still have in mind good teams and bad teams from the year before, giving those who go by extremely large gaps in RPI an edge. 

We could look into how many of these series were sweeps.  If not too many we could bet the dog to win 1 game.  Alot of good teams with high juice have been losing lately.  NYY, PHI, SF, the list goes on.

Boston is playing a double header today, so B game for them, no? I already missed the game as sometimes I sleep late on Saturday's on West Coast. :(

I know its a little late but BOS, I didnt realize had a DH that WASNT cx due to the hurricane today.  crap!. NYY DH tomorrow if anyone interested..

OK, I think I need to put down the computer. The series with SD started on the 30th, and finished with a WIN on Jun 1, the C game was the winner. DUH DUH DUH, sorry B2W. I need to pull my head out of ass.

This was fun when it was rolling. I think we need to kill the system by about the 20th of August. I always stop playing around that time anyway because of the craziness.

Don't give up on the thread, this by far is the best system I've seen and I killed my books and I am going to double up next year. There is no question that many of guys in here contribute to the decisions. We are using the brain power and experience from good cappers is how we WIN and like the name says ......it's BETTOR 2 WIN.

LOL. Man, you guys were like my right hand man all season. everyone contributed.  I think ur rite irage, aug 20 stop the system bcuz linesmakers POUR the juice on knowing teams are gunning for wins before sept. 1 becuz major league rosters got to 40 then. 

I took a beating yesterday like everyone else, but I am still way up for the year and I didn't start until after the all star break. I wish I had started sooner and am looking foward to next year. Thanks to everyone who helped out!

I didnt finish too bad yestrday. I was down but I was one of the lucky ones who also took mil, clv, det & sf. but, our 3 big hitters lost...phi, bos & nyy.

Yeah, I'm going to chase NYY tomorrow.  Then that's the last one.  I think I'll try RL.  Wish me luck.

Im going to"wash out" the phi, bos & nyy, even if each team wins today/tomorrow since the hurricaine kind of screwed everything up. looks like BOS will win today tho. So, we end w/an....

Even though they don't play series you can say bet on a team thats 50 rpi higher, and if they lose wait till the same team plays another team where they are 50 rpi higher. 

Or if you bet on a team and they lose just look for the next team to have to 50 rpi higher and bet on them.  So you likely would end up betting on 3 different teams for your 3 bets, and thats 3 good teams that have to get beat by 3 bad teams for a loss.
