Considering playing a lot more 1st half bets this upcoming season than full game plays. Have one question and then looking for feedback on pros and cons of 1st half bets.
Do first half RL bets pay close to what the full game RL bets pay?
My reasoning for playing 1st halves is to eliminate bullpens. Drawbacks I can see from 1st half plays are, less innings of offensive opportunity and any bet can end in a tie which is obviously a loser if I have the fave minus half a run. Dogs would be a push.
Looking for any feedback on other pros and cons...thanks

depends on the game. a tie for the dog will be a win (+.5). generally the juice is 40 cents more than the straight winner if i remember right. i love F5 in MLB since the pen is so fickle and impossible to know who's going to play any given day. 2 months left bud, and NBA is driving me nuts.
generally play the fave RL for F5 if the total is high <8 but last yr was my first getting really into it. lets get em this yr bud

@Monstergrit, makes sense the juice would be higher on 1Hs and looking forward to seeing the daily lines. I also like your idea of 1H RL plays when the total is 8 and up. Totals of 7.5 and lower usually suggest a decent pitching duel and a better chance of less scoring in the 1H. Nothing more frustrating to have capped a game correctly only to see some bullpen cat come in and give up 3 runs to blow your RL or SU bet. My goal this upcoming season is to eliminate juice entirely. Just play 1H dogs ML or 1H faves RL, every bet must be even money or better.
Two more months till stick ball is back. I'm at 57% through 138 NBA games this season. I could post plays if you want to follow but I'm sure there are plenty better cappers posting daily here. Good luck this MLB season!

1st 5 Inning wagers are about SP, and are handicapped to their formulated advantage of (Runs_Created) stats, and situational play; a low risk wager on TOTAL play where as a vg read can be attained, have a prosperous 2015 1st 5 Innings season, a solid call on your behalf....

would love the nba plays man. been a tough last few weeks as i got greedy after a nice run and chased. the demons still live lol. sticks shouild be fun this year tho
