So what's the details behind this system?

Will be looking at teams that are "playing over" themselfs or "under".... lets say a team scores 14 runs i.e the night before we will be assuming they will fall back towards their "median" scoring avg. for their next game. I have a little more in mind as well but we will see if it has any merit first.
