Let me be more specific.
If you use it to win the outside numbers 50.50.50.50. So you bet to win 100 instead of laying 100.
My question only applies to chase systems in which the line is not -110. So maybe applied to the JM system or any MLB, NHL systems.

Im in the current dilema. I want to chase by wagering to win, however it can get pricey. What I am currently thinking is; taking my bankroll and dividing it by three. Then to figure my target multiply by 0.035. If using a three game chase and you suffer a loss, you would lose approximately 8 units. Once I double the first 1/3 I will then recalculate the new profit target. Must have a solid system to minimize losses. Do your research and back check. The problem with Labourchere is it takes a heck of a lot longer to recoup your losses. The juice is extremely high to make it worth while, for baseball. Thats just my oppinion. I will note that I think the Labourchere has a lot of merit to it, just not for baseball.

I've looked at the disadvantages and advantages of each.
Applying it to a 3 game chase system the Martingale will yield a $100 profit on an A,B, or C win. If C losses it's 18 units. The labourchere method wins $100 on A, $50 on B and winning C is actually a $20 loss. A C loss is $1165. The thing is your line is still alive. So the next series would be 50:50:50:50:170:374:720.8 based on a -170 line. If A wins you would only be down 4 units as opposed to 17 with martingale.
This is assuming you won't lose 6 bets or two C bets in a row. i don't know which one is better I'm just trying to figure it out. It just seems ridiculous to lose your whole bankroll on a C loss.

Well, what I am saying is if you use Labourchere you are wagering to RISK not win. A line may look like this;
50 - 50 - 50 - 50 wagering 100. if you loose you add it to the right;
50 - 50 - 50 - 50 - 100, so your next wager will be 150 to RISK not a target profit or not to double up. The problem that comes up is you need more wins to recoup your losses, because the odds are not often in your favor. You would do great if you bet on all underdogs with a + line. Risking is a much safer approach, however the drawback is that it will take you longer to meet your long term goals.

I think labourche works great for baseball. doing john morrison system whith 70% A bets coming in I think it would work great.
also maybe the taking a smaller portion of your bankroll and betting 10% of that on A line of or B line of john morrison I think too would work I think it would be a fairly fast way to build a bankroll. for example if your bankroll was $1000 you could take $100 and divide that by 10% and bet on A or B bets as the both come in at a pretty good percentage. if you win you take that total and play 10%. if you loose you would take that total and play 10% on your next play.
