just found site, looking for direction and help

whats up guys, first i want to say i was very happy to find this site, and am in awe with the amount of knowlege you guys pass around.

I just started betting on sportsbook.com about 2 months ago and have to say i am not the best and do not come out on top much, then again i do realize my bets are not always smart and i bite on the big bucks now and then.

I would love it if you guys can point me in the right direction when it comes to general betting rules and methods.
