JM system with labouchere

Does anyone here besides me think that coupling JM's NBA system in which you buy 3 points (-170) with the labouchere money management is an exceptionally bad idea?

I have been using this method for a while and I think I am going to quit. I play out of two books. I use my own system at one and the JM at the other. I am making more at the one that I make my own selections than I am with the JM deal.

Any thoughts, should I just ditch the JM thing or what, and is it true that as long as I win over 33% with labouchere that I'll end up on top?

33.34% is for games that pay even money (for your 100$ invested, you'll get 100$ back if you get it right), like roulette and such. For NBA, NFL and similar, you don't double your money if you get it right, but you get, for instance, around 1 : 0.85 (for you 1$ you'll get 1$ + 0.85$), so the 33.34% win ratio need does not uphold. I believe for sports betting you'd need around 39% win ratio in order to have a good chance of winning.

I'm thinking of not buying any points and use labouchere.

I have actually thought of doing that. What I do know is I am not buying points any more.

I am currently getting my selection from the AOPR capping method for NBA. I am actually hitting over 50% so the labouchere is working out just fine.
