Ive been sports betting for about the past 6 months and have been doing alright, making a little money, not too much. An idea came to mind and I was wondering if others have tried it out...basically my idea was that if i place a wager, for example, of $5 and I lose the bet, then the next time, I make a wager of $10 with the intention of covering the $5 that I lost on the first bet and making a $5 profit total. So basically my idea is that if you a lose a bet, you increase the amount so the next bet with yield a total profit. I would have to win a bet eventually, so in the end its pretty much a guaranteed profit as long as I have enough money in case i go on a losing streak and the bets become larger. It may not make huge amounts of money, but isnt it a safe way to make money in the long run as long as your committed to the idea?

No, it will break you. Sometime or another you will lose 6, 8, 10 wagers in a row. Do you really want to end up wagering thousands of dollars just to win $100 ?
Just cap the games and make your best picks every night.
