Hideous MLB System

Those who followed my thread in the MLB section know I am a useless capper.

This is the simplest and most hideous baseball system I can dream up.

It takes literally 30 seconds to assess the card each day, and another 30 seconds to check the odds.

I have set a minimum required odds filter of $1.70 (or -142 in American odds format). The odds I use are William Hill, current at time of posting. I will use this thread to keep record.

Thursday selections to start off.

METS would have been a play also, but odds are too short.

D-BACKS were close to a bet but as per my minimum $1.70 price requirement just misses out. $1.68 at time of posting. Lines may move but will leave it out. TB makes it on the cutoff of $1.70.

I am also using this system to potentially look at team totals bets. As of now I will continue to play straight moneyline plays.

The minimum $1.70 parameter I put in based on looking at data for each day's pitching matchup.

The system is simply a cursory glance at data from Covers daily print sheets. Nothing more, nothing less. I won't divulge what it is just yet until such time that I have a more adequate sample size. Besides, if I said what it was, I would get laughed off Covers!!!!
