I finally doubled my bankroll. For a while I was stuck at 50% but after I quit betting NBA and NCAAB all together, I made 100% profit after this weekend by betting Premier League soccer. Easiest money I ever made.
I have a database that lists the spread and odds for the matchups for the last few seasons and I looked for some common trends.
I noticed two easily identifiable trends one had a strike rate of 80% but the risk to reward was outragous and the other looked at the handicapp that has a strike rate of about 67% and the average return is about .80 to .90 to the dollar (1.8 - 1.9 in european odds)
So, by following these trends with the strike rate it was relatively easier for me to overcome my plateau that I was experiencing with NBA and NCAAB.
When I wager on the handicapp it actually increases my chances such as when I take the +1/2 goal line wich guarentees me profit when the team wins or draws.

I am considering Bolton over Middlesbrough, and Arsenal at home
I am hesitant with Manchester United although it's been 3 years since they dropped 3 in a row I think.
I like the RED HOT Liverpool on the road who have scored 13 goals in their last 3 matches.
I may also consider Chelsea on the road vs Newcastle United
I like Atletico Madrid and depending what the odds say for Barcelona, however they are usually good for it. Such as last week Barcelona toasted their opposition by 6 goals, I would have bet them but the odds were -500. They are probably the most over-bet team in all of soccer, but they hold the reputation well.

It's always tricky betting on the road in football, the away team seem to crush under the 50,000 fans booing em lol.. Aston Villa (my home tam!) are the best away team in the premiership, my mate won literally thousands on the moneyline with them this season...

As far as Aston Villa goes, it does sound like a good value bet. But Man U, I think will probably get back on track at Old Trafford. I won't touch any team that is holding a recent form rating of 4 points - such in the case with Villa. For Villa, I think its best to wait till the ice around them starts to melt.

MLS is here. Here are some games to look at. Using a rating system in an excel spreadsheet, I have found some strong bets for this weekends MLS matches. Although it is only the second week of competition, these are matches to watch. I noticed the bookmakers are favoring 1) Defending Champion 2) Seattle Sounders and 3) all home teams without regard to who is actually playing.
The matches to watch are:
1. Chicago +185
2. New England Revolution +175
3. Houston +175
4. Chivas +210
According to the team ratings, these are the strongest games. However, I will only watch them as I give the ratings time to develope.

The results for last week MLS were 1 win 2 draws and 1 loss. Again I am waiting until week 6 to wager because I haven't figured out who is who in the league for this season.

This weekend is looking really good. I love it when you go to your sports betting account only to notice you are up by alot more than the last time you checked.
That's the raw enjoyment I get after a 4-1 day of investing.
