I am assuming you have to look at opening lines here? A lot of times the public will bet a low total of 37 down to 35 and sometimes 34. Often times the games end up 10-0 or something like that.
Total of 51 in the NFL is high, so people will tend to bet the under naturally.
I have actually gone the opposite in recent years, for basketball as an example, a low total usually goes under more often than a high total goes over. I do not know if this is true for football, however.

If that isn't enough to start doing some testing.. then i'm afraid there is "nothing" on this site which will help you.
One of the keys to successful handicapping is to understand why you are playing the picks you play, and not just blindly playing a pick you see written somewhere. Otherwise, what if that person disappears? You are left out in the cold.

what you should do is find all of Tomspeople's post, read his systems then just do what he says. I use his nfl system for 2years!
You fade any team that is favored and has won outright as a dog the week before.
I want to be very clear I got this system from Tomspeople, can't thank him enough!!
