I have read a few books that broached the subject of finding lines that cross but that is very rare. If you find anything on moneyline hedging please PM me. I'm interested in the topic.

Are you talking about sports arbitrage betting?
It is possible, but I think you need a whole slew of sportsbooks to find the opportunities. And since many sportsbooks in Europe don't take U.S. players, it seems rather hard for an American bettor to do so.
Also, you can't expect huge returns. Most arbs pay out 2%. I have some information stashed on my computer somewhere. If you guys want me to dig it out, I will look to see where it was. I was looking at this stuff 4-5 years ago before many sportsbooks pulled out of the North American market.
