1. A bettor has won 9 or more straight games.

2. A bettor has won 17 of his last 20 games

Colonel your thoughts are appreciate I believe in the mathematics of your system I do agree an individual does approach 50% from 85-90%. However if you think about the bell curve there are two sides. Without getting statistical geeky my short conclusion is that when an individual has:

1. A bettor has lost 9 or more straight games.

2. A bettor has lost 17 of his last 20 games

When and individual has won 15-20% of their games the same rule applies just in the reverse. When someone has lost fitting the criteria above then over the next 9-10 games we should bet with that individual.

If you believe the mathematics of you system this has to apply as well. This will give more opportunities to play.

Please let me know your thoughts,

PS: I totally agree with your sytsem because the line relegates the picking of a game to a coinflip heads or tails. It will approach 50% from either direction left or right.

Does it show losing streaks also?  If so, where? It would be impossible wading through all the 0 win streaks to find what we are looking far.

I have actually used this myself, I look for the some of the absolute coldest cappers over a decent (not too small) sample size and tail their picks. I do not use the 9 straight or 17/20 criteria, I just use current percents.
I figure most will end up between 45% and 55% thats where probably 95% of ppls record will end up.
The main problem with this system however is if for example someone is 40-20 67% and they go 50-50 their next 100 games theyll still end up 56%. You really do not know when the cold/hot streak will come, variance does catch up to everybody however pinpointing when exactly is not something that is possible.

Their format is also limited, based on contest rules and regulations..because their is No wagering, they can&#x27;t be taken serious in your pursuit. You have laid a foundation that has merit, with the addition of variables, this system may have value in the long run. very difficult to locate "real" handicappers, wagering "real" units..Covers has many good cappers in the baseball forum, but they seldom have streaks of 9&#x2B; wins..being the key to your research, this factor alone needs a positive concept employed.   just some constructive thoughts in your direction. best regards
