CFB Ranked teams on the road....

Was going through the season so far and I've noticed a trend so far with ranked teams going on the road as favorites:

Bet the dog in the first half against a ranked team on the road:
17-8 this year so far 68%

Bet the dog in the full game against a ranked team on the road:
17-8 this year so far 68%

I did not take into account ranked teams against ranked teams. Just ranked (road) against unranked team(home).

68% winners so far, I wonder how long it will last.

Alabama (1) at Missouri
West Virginia (4) at Texas Tech
Florida (6) at Vanderbilt
USC (9) at Washington

looks great. i'm guessing those dogs will go 3-1, with bama being the only fav to cover 1st half and game.  your method used to work well in college hoops conference games except against nc or duke many times.  it still does work, i think, but it was just taking the home team weather they were a dog or fav hosting a top 10 team.  i remember that the top 10 teams were the play in the 2nd half for the most part 2/3 times.  it's always a good angle to think about.  good luck!

Yeah I noticed that most dogs at home will cover one at least one half. Blown out in the first half, they cover the second, or cover the first and get blown out in the second half. I'll make my own adjustments at the half.

Got the full games listed above, now on to the first half of these games:

Missouri +13

Texas Tech +1.5

Vanderbilt +5

Washington +7

 

Lets see how this goes.  .25 unit each to start off. If it wins, good, if it goes south well at least my roll wont suffer as much.

I've gotten hammered before following systems like this in the past. Be wary jaime! These trends can flip quickly. Your best bet is to backtrack when you notice something like this.

Im going to make some tweeks to this sytem for this upcoming week. I think in the long haul, these types of picks will end up losing or winning minimal amounts, but if I am able to add some filters, it could be a winning formula. I will check back in later this week.
