Grizzlies have been absolutely abysmal to start the 2008-009 season,

10 games, Memphis has only been within double-digits once –
against the just-as-lowly Clippers.
Although
the Rockets (13-7) are without stars Steve Francis and Tracy McGrady,
Houston is atop the Western Conference’s Southwest Division and has
been playing solid basketball of late, Worth noting also is the fact
that Rockets games have gone over the total seven of the
last eight games. In their only meeting this year, Houston defeated
Memphis 82-71 as a 12 ½-point favorite at home (Oct. 29)
How is
Houston getting it done? The answer is its youthful roster which
includes guys like Luther Head, Aaron Brooks, Luis Scola, Joey Dorsey
and the new guy, Ron Artest. The Rockets have also been getting it done
from beyond the three-point stripe, going 61.9%, 43.5% and 50% in their
last three outings. Lay the lumber. ROCKETS -7.
