Betting Fav RL and Dog ML....same game

I don't know if it's been addressed here before, but has anyone looked into betting favorites moneyline and dogs runline for the same game?  I'm not sure at what rate favorites win by only 1 run.  Read somewhere on another forum about some pro poker player who turned a modest bankroll into over 50k over the course of a season.  Not sure if it would be profitable or not, anyone have any input?
