Quick couple of questions jw 1) What is the significance of pulling the two place bets on the 4 & 10 after the two rolls following the come out roll? 2) Are they removed after two rolls specifically or after two winning rolls (ie. what if you roll a 2,3,11,or 12 in the first two rolls after the come out roll)? Thanks for the strat and look forward to your reply.

I can tell you the best mathematical strategy real fast. A don't pass wager with max odds, 2 don't come bets with max odds. Now if you play this way I highly suggest that you do it when the tables are empty or you get in a little corner and don't say a damn thing when you win because you are going against the rest of the table.
If you want to play with the table then a pass wager with max odds, make a couple of come wagers with max odds and if you want a bit more action then place the 6 and 8 if those numbers are not in play already.
The don't pass play has a slightly lower house edge of 1.36% instead of 1.41% for the pass strategy.
Oh yeah and the whole place the 4 and 10 is just not smart at all. Do you really want to give the house a 6.7% advantage.

Lippsman-you are right-on about Don't having a slightly better edge for the player.
Why screw a good thing by laying odds when you est. a point?If you have $25 don't and the point is 4,you have a bet where you are 1-2 favorite and they pay you even money.If you lay odds $50 to win $25 then you are betting $75 to win $50 total and you are cutting your own neck by queering your advantage.
Jimmy the Greek bet strictly Don't Pass and he said he would have never gone broke if he didn't handicap himself by Laying Odds on the bet.
