I designed a module that will project a line for MLB games. Pick the home team, away team and the two pitchers. The result screen generates a line based on overall team and pitcher. I've had some success with it, so I thought I'd share.
It is not perfect, but sometimes you can find line value or who is the "better" pitcher/team overall statistically. Here is a sample game. Hit select new teams to get other matchups.

I played boston +125 because I thought I had the better pitcher and solid line value even without Ramirez in the line. I usually play home teams, small to medium favorites or home dogs, but I loved Boston in this spot today. That's just my style everyone has there own. This game fit my most of my criteria.
O.k. line projection, better team, better pitcher (according to my rankings)
Try it, fade it, but I've found some value.
THIS IS NOT THE ONLY HANDICAPPING TOOL I USE. I use it to eliminate some plays and shrink the number of games I look into. Cap the game yourself, check out consensus sites, and forums whatever you do, this is perfect, but it has helped me.
I have other sports available as well. I did extremely well with football and basketball. I had the Celtics in the majority of the finals games and made a nice hit on the series.
I'm still tweaking things, and this is not like click a button and win a million dollars. This does give me a starting point to my handicapping and sometimes pushes me in the right direction.
