anyone else make up new stats for MLB?

Question

i call it top90 era..... you take the top 90% of a pitchers starts and get a ERA.... if you have 10 starts you take away the 1 worst start... if you have 18 starts you look at the top 17.... if you have 20 starts you look at the top 18 starts and so on.... theres a lot of good pitchers that get rocked ever once and a while bad but they could for the most part be a better pitcher than someone who goes out there and goes 5 innings every night and has a lower ERA..

90% of the time.... this is the era

- once you have 10 starts at home or away you can have t90era/home and away.... also last 10 starts

--- i also hate the QS for pitchers.... 6 and 3er doesn't cut it

a lot of time 1 bad start can screw an era where that pitcher would be far more profitable than a guy that goes out there and goes 5 in and 3 er 3/4 times..... the 4th start being 8 and 0.... your ERA is 3.52

vs

a guy that's got a higher ERA but isn't going 5in and 3er 75% of the time, he does better

(6 and 2) (6 and 6) (7 and 1) (5 and 2) this guy has an ERA of 4.12

I like the guy with 4.12 more
