$50 - $5000 BATORF Chase

with all the good work being done here, and with my own seperate system starting (to detailed to post) ..I am gonna have some fun with this chase.. for those who don't know, BATORF = Bet against one run Favorite .. where basically I am betting the dog on the money line and the favorite on the run line, I will chase to 2 ..if i can avoid hitting 2 one run favorite wins a in a row, I figure it will take about 267 wins to turn $50 into $5k ..i know this is gambling and a long shot..but it should be fun  ... 1st bet will be 12% of roll..2nd will be 88% ..fist bet is already under way..

starting roll $50

Current Roll = $50

Profit = $0

Level 1 -total bet 12% of 50= $6

Red Sox  +136   $3 to win $4.08

Tigers -1.5  +151  $3 to win $4.53

simple system but it seems genius in my opinion I will be keeping track and probably will play starting from $50 like you.

is it only one game played per day and do you just taking whatever game gives you the best odds for both bets?

Hey,,, i try to get in as many as I can a day.. today i will probably not get in the 4 oclock game, but at least the 7 o clock as well ..when there are several games to choose from , yes, i just go with the best odds.. i have done all kinds of research and the one run fave hits at about 18% .. that lowers a very small amount if you pick the road faves.. (no bottom of ninth wins) ..but generally these are hard ot handicap, so i just go with the best odds..

not looking good right off the bat..

a few other random things i forgot to mention..

- I will compound wins .. i.e after a win, i recalculate 12% of my new roll, and that becomes the new amount bet ,etc

- I will generally try to make both payouts equal .. i,e if the dog is +120, and the fave on the run line is -1.5 +175.. I will bet more of the total amount on the dog, to make both payouts the same or close.. hopefully this last past today to put some of this into practise !!

It sounds fun but this has no shot in hell getting 267 wins.

Neilsy, where have you been man? Havent seen you for a while. I tested this strategy last year. wasn't good. not good at all.  Looks good on paper I know. but it's garbage overall. sorry man. 

If you are interested I have a proposition for you that could become very useful for us in the upcoming baseball season. PM me if interested.  I don't have the time to do it. basically I want you to  back test last years plays for me. About 2-3 hours worth of work.  Along with a google.docs  spreadsheet.With the info I want you to grab it could very well make a new system...A DOG baseball system.

Hey bettor...been busy .. I am fully aware of the shitty odds of this ..but its fun...

I may not have time to do any back testing, i am starting my "real" baseball system this weekend, i have done a ton of work on this, and it is gonna keep me busy.. i am debating posting it here.. maybr not thotugh just because it just adds more work ! ..anyway..good luck with the rpi..
