can someone clear this up for me

I have been picking for a while, I was curious what for example Flames -104 means

 cause I continued my streak with flames -104 they beat the sharks by a goal why doesnt that make the outcome a push rather than a win?

Wagerline doesnt put point spreads for hockey and baseball..-140 for the flames is a betting line (moneyline)..It only comes in effect when betting money.

Hockey and Baseball have money lines.  Football and Basketball have point spreads. 

If you see Hockey or Baseball on this contest just pick who you think will win straight up.
