Van I was wondering why you like Iran Over. Granted they still have a slim shot of advancing, but they have not scored in their first two games.

You have been razor sharp after seeing the opening rounds.

    Hey Van... Respect.

So are you thinking Tina and Nigeria will Draw?  I understand the angle of how both advance but I fear that Tina may want to show a bit more headed into the knockout stage, especially after Brazil's performance yesterday.  I dunno... I fear a 2-0 or 3-1 game.

Going to get to these questions in the AM and maybe do write-ups.  Not done doing write-ups - just have had a really busy start to this week and have run out of steam for now...

I like that Nigeria+1 seeing how Argentina has yet to hit their stride. The wager should push at worst. Iran-Bosnia is rather tricky as both needed goals. I think Bosnia can escapes this one but they are rather all over the place and can't put up consistency. Iran has good flashes on offense but rather limited. If they kept the same discipline like the match against Argentina, they should be able to draw at worst. France over Ecuador as well and the UNDER in Swizz-Hondura is a gem. I see the Swizz winning this one with better quality in the middle.

I like the under in the Swiss/Duras game as well, but since thats the case, the draw enticed me more at almost 4 times the payout.

How did that Italy Uruguay draw work out for you. Train just being honest but stick to a sport you have some knowledge about. And yeah I accept a contest with you just to shut you up.

Missed that Ranger. Train what are you talking about?

You can play the draw and it does not have to go under. But even though I think your a troll I bet a few bucks on the draw.

Initially I thought CIV were robbed, but this replay clearly shows the defender using his knee to catch the leg of the Greek forward. It was a proper call.

You do realize this is an under wager in a game where both teams have participated in a 'come back win' already this tournament and where the weaker, defensive-minded team must win by 2 goals to have a chance of advancing?

I'm staying away and possible going Over.

France - yes please. Together with Colombia and Netherlands, they've looked like THE team to beat this tournament. It's almost hard to believe betting these three teams to win outright will yield +1200 (on average). Then again, there are no Honduras-es in the playoffs....

I understand why Suarez used his hand to stop Ghana in 2010. Even though it broke my heart, it was the right play and the only play to give his team a chance to win the game.

But a serial biter is quite a different matter, and an indicator that this man may well be violating drug tests undetected.

Nobody bites people repeatedly, unless they have some serious mental health issues, and it is likely that these mental health issues are caused by performance enhancing drugs.

As talented as Mr. Suarez is, he has no business playing at this level ever again. His lack of morals make him unfit.

The man is a douchebag of the highest order, and his selfish actions have relegated his nation to irrelevance in this World Cup.

Not only is this a sad end to a sorry episode, Mr. Suarez has gleefully decided to place himself ahead of his country.

Why an individual would do such a thing is utterly beyond me, but Mr. Suarez will have to answer from now until the end of time as to why he is such a stupid self absorbed fool.

What a shame, and what a waste.

What bothers me the most is the betrayal of the fine people in Uruguay,  who have had their chance at glory stolen by a man who puts himself ahead of his country.

They will not let him play on, and now Liverpool will be on the hook for a massive contract for a player who is likely to miss half the season.

This man is not worthy of gracing a beer league soccer pitch, though  you may sadly be right, which only speaks volumes about the utter corruption that is FIFA.

It is well documented that this loser has bitten opponents on three separate occasions.

Obviously, he has some mental health issues.

He will not be suspended from playing for liverpool, he will face a penalty of a maximum of 24 games which will only effect his international eligibility.

While I am not informed enough to argue your point, I would be grateful if you could provide a link to back up your assertion.

The biting incidents of 2010 and 2013 involved league play, not international.

Best quote I read on the internet: "Clearly the Italian player had a chip on his shoulder", from an English wag at The Guardian.

Bosnias natural game style is open and high scoring at both ends.  Their game against Nigeria (1-0) was really dictated by Nigeria, and I think it was just a one off - there were lots of missed chances and it was a nervous effort by the Bosnians.  So in this last game - with nothing to lose - I see Bosnia returning to the open style of play with another striker up front to support Dzeko rather than him being alone up there.

Iran played very tactically in their first two games - and without the Messi goal in stoppage time - it would have worked to perfection.  They were playing for 2 draws in their opening games, with the idea that they would go for it in the third.  Well - here we are - at the third game that they absolutely have to win - against a team that is out of the tournament and should also encourage an open style of play.  Iran will not play 10 men behind the ball today.  Dejaggah had chances in the first two games but needs more support in the attack and today he should get it - but Iran looked dangerous going forward even with very limited resources.

Just see the situation - along with tactics - leading to a lot of chances today.  The danger is that Iran gets up by a goal, AND Nigeria is getting beat badly by Argentina - that Iran returns to playing 10 behind the ball - but I will take my chances...
