Forgive me for the cheesy title, guess I've watched to much Eurosport over the years.
Great Day yesterday, cashed in on Viking and hope to increase the profit even further today.
I will first kick it off with a Tennis pick in which I see a lot of value:
J.Monaco-A.Kham Kham +6.5 games @ 1.7 (2,5/10)
Unfortunately the odds went down and if they decrease even further I would probably not consider playing it. Monaco is somewhat out of shape/form and can have big problems against solid Servers, which Kham has the potential to be. Even if Monaco won 6-3, 6-3 this bet would cash, so I'll take the risk of betting on a "nobody".
Soccer
AIK Stockholm-Djurgardens IF x2 @ 2.25 (1,25/10) Derbytime in Sweden's capital. Djurgarden has recently shown some improvement, winning the last two goals and apparently playing some decent football again. They have adjusted some of their lineup but it seems to work better now. A derby always is hard to predict, but given these odds for AIK not to win I'll take them small and hope they go through.
Sion removed Gattuso as their coach and now he is only a player. Nevertheless, Sion is struggling badly. Nothing seems to work, they have lost their last two games 0-5 and 0-4, those were against teams with better firepower than Servette but it shows that Sion has major difficulties to score at the moment. Same could be said about Servette, although they pulled off an important victory against Thun a couple of weeks ago. Under is 24/32 for Servette's games and in home games 3/12 - clearly an under team. I think they can pull a victory as they desperately need one to stay in competition for 9th place. Both teams lack confidence and thus I can imagine both to try not to concede a goal early and later play more offensively. I think one of the two should surely come and maybe like yesterday both will hit.
Still in consideration:
Gefle-IFK Goteborg DNB 2 @ 1.55 (4/10) I don't see Gefle winning that's for sure, they won two times against Halmstad and Atvidabergs at home (two teams that will fight to avoid relegation) and this has been over one month ago. IFK in 2nd place and won 6/9. What bothers me, apart from the rather low odds, is that the odds on the Asian market are going in the other direction, moving towards Gefle. I will think about this game further and post an update sometime during the day.
Locked in for Thursday:
Women CL Wolfsburg-Lyon HC 1-0 2 @ 2.3 (2,5/10)
Lyon is just the better team, they have dominated the entire Women's Soccer landscape and outscored their opponents 169:6, on top of the fact that they won the title the last two years. I saw Wolfsburg in the cup final against Potsdam and was a little shocked at how weak they were defensively. They were leading 3-0 and then almost gave up 3 goals in like 5 minutes. Lyon has too much firepower not to win by two goals or more..
